TopUpHQ policy
Privacy policy
How TopUpHQ handles workspace, recipient and transaction information.
Effective 19 July 2026
Information we collect
We collect workspace, company, administrator, recipient, phone-network, allowance, payment-reference, usage, support and device information needed to operate TopUpHQ.
We do not ask you to provide staff information that is unnecessary for delivering and accounting for the service.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure workspaces, prepare and process top-ups, apply limits and approvals, maintain transaction evidence, reconcile payments, resolve failures and refunds, provide support, and improve service reliability.
Service providers and disclosure
We may share the minimum necessary information with licensed payment partners, connectivity suppliers, infrastructure providers and professional advisers. We may also disclose information where Nigerian law requires it or where it is necessary to protect users, TopUpHQ or the public.
We do not sell personal information.
Security and retention
We use access controls, tenant separation, audit records and operational safeguards appropriate to the service. No online system is risk-free.
We retain records for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, meet accounting or legal duties, and preserve transaction evidence. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably required.
Your choices and contact
Workspace administrators can request access, correction or deletion where applicable. Some financial and transaction records must be retained even after an account closes.
